Our Drivers

As stated earlier our aim is to utilise outstanding people who care about your tour as if it were their own. The face of our business, our coach captains are responsible for the success of your tour.

Without exception our coach drivers would be described as mature, responsible and highly experienced. Most have been coach drivers for many years and a number have been coach drivers for almost all of their working lives. The value of experience cannot be underestimated, when considering the safety and reliability aspects of operating a tour covering up to 2,500 kilometers.

New Zealand roads are often narrow and windy, and traverse numerous mountain passes in the South Island. Competence in driving in all conditions is essential. In 2005 all of our drivers completed the Milford Road Accreditation programme. This 3-day course covered first aid, driving in snow, fitting chains, and heavy vehicle dynamics.
